Panthers To Compete In St. Bonaventure Fall Classic

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's tennis team will play three matches as part of the St. Bonaventure Fall Classic played on the outdoor courts on the campus of St. Bonaventure University Saturday and Sunday.

Also competing in the event is the host St. Bonaventure Bonnies, Niagara Purple Eagles and Roberts Wesleyan Redhawks.

The Panthers will begin action in the weekend event by taking on the Bonnies in singles action at 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by a matchup with Roberts Wesleyan with doubles at 2 p.m. and singles at 6 p.m.

Sunday, the Panthers will start with singles at 12 p.m. and doubles at 1 p.m. against Niagara and wrap up the competition with their doubles matchups with St. Bonaventure.

This weekend will continue the Panthers' fall slate of matches. On Sept. 23, the Panthers fell at Geneva, 7-2, in the team's season opener. 

Tyler Dugan and Jacob Volz picked up a win in No. 1 doubles while Volz earned the Panthers' second victory of the day in No. 2 singles.
