Official All-AMCC Awards Release

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – A pair of relays and an individual performance from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's swim team have been earned All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference postseason honors, conference officials announced Wednesday.

"This a great honor for these student-athletes," Head Coach Doug Alban said. "It is a reminder of why they put in the hard work that they do. These athletes are very deserving of this award."

Noah Frederick earned All-AMCC Second Team recognition for finishing second in the 100-breaststroke finals at the AMCC Championships last week.

The junior Plum, Pa., native timed in at 1:01.23, edging out the third-place finisher by 0.21 seconds.

Additionally, the relay team of Caleb Hansen, Frederick, Chris Troll and Devyn Condon were honored for their second-place performances in the 400-medley and the 800-freestyle relays.

The 400-medley relay team timed in at 3:40.53, trimming eight seconds from their seed time.

The Panthers got the four-day event started on a high note with its success in the 800-freestyle relay on opening day, timing in at 7:33.27, just over one second ahead of the third-place finishing team from Alfred State.

The Pitt-Bradford men's swim team finished third at the AMCC Championships with 228 points earned over the span of the four-day event.
