BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's and women's swim programs have canceled Saturday's annual season-opening Panther Relays.

The event, set to be held the Paul C. Duke III Aquatic Center Saturday, was originally scheduled to be attended by Franciscan, Penn State-Altoona, Jamestown Community College and Genesee Community College.

However, the decision was made to cancel the inaugural action of the 2018-19 season due to circumstances beyond Pitt-Bradford's control.

The Panther Relays is the only event of its type all season, comprising of mixed gender relay events.

Pitt-Bradford's first action of the season will now be Saturday, Oct. 27 at Penn State-Altoona.
