Pitt-Bradford's Carey Behm was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Swimmer of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

It marks the first time in his career Behm has received the conference's weekly honor, and he is the third Panther this season to win the award.

Behm played a big role in leading the Panthers to their second straight dual win, a 58-34 victory over Wells on Saturday. The sophomore won a pair of individual events, the 100-yard and 200-yard free swims, and swam the opening leg on the winning 200-yard medley relay team to account for 15 total points.

The Erie, Pa., native and his teammates will wrap up their home schedule Saturday by hosting Alfred State at 1 p.m.
