Panthers Women's, Men's Soccer Continue AMCC Action At Penn State-Altoona Saturday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford soccer teams will be back in action Saturday at Penn State-Altoona for road Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contests.

The Pitt-Bradford women's team (1-7-1, 0-1-1 AMCC) is coming off a 1-1 draw with D'Youville Tuesday in which it scored the equalizer in the closing minutes of regulation. 

In the 88th minute, a D'Youville hand ball just outside the box allowed for one more solid scoring chance for the Panthers.

Meghan Stuck lined it up and buried it for her third goal of the season.

Also with three goals this season is Courtney Shade. Kahlee Bowen and Grace Dadzaa have a goal apiece as well.

In goal, Emily Bethel has played the second most minutes of any keeper in the AMCC at 835:34 and her 83 saves are tied for the conference lead.

The Pitt-Bradford men's team (1-9, 0-2 AMCC) are coming off a tough defeat against D'Youville Tuesday.

Chase Rider continues to lead the squad with three goals while Ryuta Hayakawa is next with a pair of goals. Dakotah Graham has also scored for the Panthers.

In goal, Sihle Sizani has played 585:00 minutes while making 33 saves.

Penn State-Altoona's women's team enters the weekend with a 0-2 mark so far in AMCC action. Sadie McConnell is the team's top scorer with four goals -- the fifth most in the AMCC.

On the men's side, Penn State-Altoona is 1-1 in AMCC play, having defeated Pitt-Greensburg 3-0 on Sept. 25. Jordan Crist is the team's leading scorer with a pair of goals.

Saturday's action will begin with the women's game at 2 p.m. followed by the men's game around 4:15 p.m.
