BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's soccer team welcomed Nazareth Tuesday to wrap up its three-game homestand.

The Golden Flyers (4-2-1) defeated the Panthers, (1-7), 3-0, at a hot, humid Kessel Athletic Complex.

"First half mistakes cost us," Head Coach Nathan Whitehurst said. "We played well in the second half but it was too much to come back from."

Nazareth scored its three goals in the first half, netting its first five minutes into the contest on a free kick taken just outside of the box on the right side.

Goal number two for the Golden Flyers came on a cross from the right side toward the middle five minutes later.

Once more, at the 31-minute mark, Nazareth buried a free kick from about 30 yards out on the left side to take its 3-0 lead into the half.

Pitt-Bradford's best chance to get on the board came in the 61st minute when Noah Black fired a shot from outside the box on the right side. The ball hooked, but not enough to land inside the upper-90 and it sailed wide.

In all, Pitt-Bradford put a pair of shots on goal -- one apiece from J.T. Magro and Aidan Perez.

Dakotah Graham led the team with a pair of shot attempts while Chase Rider and Black rounded out the team's six shots.

Sihle Sizani played all 90 minutes in goal for the Panthers, making a pair of saves on five shots on goal out of 13 total Nazareth attempts.

Up next, the Panthers will hit the road for their first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action at Mount Aloysius Saturday.
