BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's soccer team is set to open a three-game homestand Wednesday as Alfred comes to the Kessel Athletics Complex.

The Panthers are coming off a week in which they suffered road losses at Allegheny Thursday and Wooster Saturday.

Ryuta Hayakawa scored the lone Panther on Thursday, burying a penalty kick in the first half.

Hayakawa is tied for the team lead with a pair of goals on the season -- both coming on penalty kicks.

Chase Rider has also scored a pair of goals to tie with Hayakawa for the team lead. Both of Rider's goals came against Muskingum on Sept. 1.

Rider and Hayakawa are two of five players in the AMCC with multiple goals on the season. Pitt-Bradford is the lone team in the AMCC with two players with multiple goals.

As a team, the Panthers' 24 corner kick attempts are the second most of any team in the AMCC so far this season.

Derrick Brock and Sihle Sizani have split time in goal for the Panthers. Both have identical .667 save percentages.

Alfred comes to the Kessel Athletic Complex in search of its first win of the season at 0-5. Evan Merkey, Raquan Hinds and Alexander Tostanoski have scored a pair of goals so far this season.

Following Wednesday's game, Pitt-Bradford will host Baldwin Wallace Saturday and Nazareth next Tuesday. 

Wednesday's contest will begin at 4 p.m.
