Panthers Men's Soccer Players Lend A Hand To Bradford Resident

BRADFORD, Pa. – The winter season brings many wonderful things: the holidays, snowball fights and downhill sledding. But with all the pleasantries come the struggles of managing the cold Bradford winters.

Members of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's soccer team lent a hand to local senior resident Peg Hopkins to help winterize her property.

"This is a great opportunity for some of our guys to get out into the community and give a helping hand," Head Coach Nathan Whitehurst said. "We will continue to find more opportunities like this to give back in such a meaningful way."

In preparation for the winter, the players raked and mulched the leaves, mowed the grass and cleaned out the gutters.

The five Panther helpers were Mohammed Al Qahtani, Lucien Kalkhof, Steven McFetridge, Colin Irwin and Noah Black.
