Tigar Named AMCC Offensive Player of the Week

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's lacrosse team had its fourth student-athlete recognized by the AMCC on Monday, as sophomore attacker Billy Tigar was named AMCC Offensive Player of the Week.

Tigar scored six goals and added two assists in the Panthers' come-from-behind victory over La Roche. Tigar took 17 shots, putting nine on target. He also collected five ground balls.

This is the first time Tigar has won the award. He joins Ben Byers, Evan Stack, and Hunter Shank as Panthers to earn the honor.

Tigar will lead the Panthers into the postseason on Wednesday, as they host Hilbert in the AMCC Tournament semifinal.
