ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Junior Cary Ignaczak of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Golfer of the Week for his performance this past week, conference officials announced Monday.

Ignaczak guided the Panthers to the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic championship.

He captured the two-day individual medal as the top competitor for the weekend, as he shot a 73 on Day 1 at Penn St. Altoona, followed by a 75 on Day 2 at Mount Aloysius.

Behind Ignaczak, the Panthers won Saturday's event at Penn State-Altoona with a score of 310 before coming out on top at the Mount Aloysius Invitational with a 306 team score.

This is the second time this season Iganczak has earned the AMCC weekly honor, as he won on Sept. 3. His teammate Matt Moonan won the award last week.

Up next, Pitt-Bradford will compete in the Westminster Invitational Monday, Sept. 30.
