ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Senior Matt Moonan of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Golfer of the Week, conference officials announced Monday.

Moonan led all Panthers and all AMCC golfers with a score of 75, leading the Panthers to a second-place finish.

Pitt-Bradford's placement was seven strokes better than the next best AMCC finisher, Penn State-Behrend, which shot a 314.

Additionally, Moonan shot the lowest score in program history at 69 to help the Panthers to a win at Penn State-DuBois Monday.

Moonan is the second member of the Pitt-Bradford golf program to earn AMCC weekly honors, as Cary Ignaczak garnered the honor on Sept. 4.

Up next, Pitt-Bradford will compete at La Roche on Tuesday.
