Panthers Men's Golf To Close Out Regular Season Thursday At Hilbert

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team will wrap up regular season action Thursday at the Hilbert Invitational at Brierwood Country Club.

The Panthers are coming off a strong showing at the Penn State-Behrend Invitational Monday.

Pitt-Bradford finished tied for third with the host Penn State-Behrend at 315.

La Roche earned the victory with a score of 305 while Penn State-Altoona was second at 312.

All nine of the AMCC teams were in attendance, with Penn State-Behrend competing with both an 'A' team and a 'B' team for 10 squads overall.

Johnny Fiore tied for second overall out of 54 total individual golfers with a score of 74.

Cooper Cordova was four strokes back as he tied for 10th with a score of 78. Cary Ignaczak tied for 18th as he fired an 80.

Jamie Rook shot an 83 and Matt Moonan rounded out the Panther competitors with an 84.

After Thursday's action, Pitt-Bradford will compete in the season's main event: the two-day AMCC Championship at Avalon Lakes in Youngstown, Ohio, Sunday and Monday.
