Panthers Head To Hilbert For Regular Season Finale

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team will close out its 2017 regular season Thursday with a trip to Brierwood Country Club for an event hosted by Hilbert.

The Panthers are coming off a fourth-place finish in the Penn State-Behrend Invitational Monday at Lawrence Park Country Club.

Pitt-Bradford shot a 335 Monday, led by a 78 from Cary Ignaczak, which was tied for the ninth-best score out of the 58 total golfers.

Ignaczak leads the Panthers with a 77.71 average score, which is good for the seventh-lowest individual average in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.

Matt Moonan earned AMCC Player of the Week this week for shooting his best round of the season of 75 at Westminster last Monday.

As a team, the Panthers have remained consistently competitive, posting an average score of 323.86, the fourth-lowest average score of the nine teams in the AMCC.

Following Thursday's action, the Panthers will compete in the two-day AMCC Championship on Sunday and Monday at Avalon Lakes Country Club.
