Pitt-Bradford Heads To Lawrence Park CC For Penn State-Behrend Invitational

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team will head to Lawrence Park Country Club for an event hosted by Penn State-Behrend Monday.

The Panthers have been idle for a week, last competing at Westminster on Sept. 25.

Pitt-Bradford put together a strong outing, finishing second out of 14 teams by shooting a 317, just two strokes shy of the lead.

Matt Moonan played his best round of the season as he shot a 75. His score was tied for third out of all 73 competitors and two strokes behind the leader.

Jamie Rook shot a 79, and Cary Ignaczak was one stroke behind at 80. 

Sam Marchini fired an 83, and Brett Gardner rounded out the scoring at 92.

Monday's action will be the second-last outing in the Panthers' regular season before the AMCC Championships beginning on Oct. 8.
