Panthers Head to New Castle Country Club For Westminster Invitational

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team will head to New Castle Country Club for an event hosted by Westminster Monday.

Pitt-Bradford has been idle since Tuesday, Sept. 19, when they traveled to La Roche for the third match in four days.

At La Roche, Brett Gardner had the lowest score for the Panthers at 78 and Cary Ignaczak was one stroke behind at 79.

Both Gardner and Ignaczak finished in the top 10, as Gardner came in eighth and Ignaczak finished tied for ninth.

Matt Moonan fired an 85 and Jamie Rook rounded out the scoring at 92.

After Monday's action will wrap up the month of September for the Panthers. Two more events in October will come before Pitt-Bradford competes in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championships starting on Oct. 8.
