Pitt-Bradford Men's Golf to Compete at Penn State-DuBois Wednesday

BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's golf team will head to Penn State-DuBois for a competition at DuBois Country Club on Wednesday.

Wednesday's action will be the first in a week for the Panthers, as they last competed in the Medaille Invitational on Sept. 6.

Cary Ignaczak paced the Panthers as he shot a 76 for a second-place finish in the event, just two strokes back of the leader. 

With an 80, Brett Gardner finished tied for fifth, and Matt Moonan was close behind with a score of 82.

Jamie Rook with 88 and Aaron Vansickles with 100 rounded out the Panther performances. 

Prior to the action at Medaille, the Panthers hosted the Pitt-Bradford Invitational at Pine Acres Country Club on Sept. 2. Ignaczak led the way for Pitt-Bradford in the season-opening competition as well, shooting a 77 to finish eighth out of 93 golfers. Gardner also cracked the top ten one stroke back of Ignaczak at 78.
