Men's Basketball Prepares to Open AMCC Schedule

Bradford, Pa. The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team starts their conference schedule on Tuesday November 26th, when they host the Hilbert Hawks.

The Panthers (1-2) enter AMCC play looking to build off of momentum gained from their 89-83 win over Fredonia on Friday night. The Panthers used a balanced attack which saw 6 different players finish in double figures. Their attack was efficient as it was diverse. They shot 50% from the field and over 60% from beyond the arc. Jeff Fry led Pitt-Bradford with 19 points and Justin Kusiappouh recorded his second double-double of the season, scoring 12 and pulling in 10 rebounds. On the season Zach Dahlstrand is the Panthers' leading scorer, averaging 14.7 points per game. Jusin Kusiappouh is currently the leagues leading rebounder, averaging 11.7 per contest.

Hilbert has started the season 4-1, and has already picked up a victory in AMCC play, defeating D'Youville 99-75 on November 20th. They are led by seniors Alex Karamanos (13.4 ppg) and Masia Phillips (13.2 ppg) as they have averaged 82.4 points per game as a team. The Hawks were selected to finish 6th in the AMCC's preseason poll.

Tip-off for the game is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
