Men's Basketball Loses on the Road to Keuka

Keuka Park, N.Y. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team fell to Keuka 80-64 on Saturday afternoon.

Game Notes-

  • Nick Carmichael got the Panthers started with back to back buckets in his first Panther start.
  • After falling behind early, the Panthers used a 10-0 run to take a lead of their own. Zach Dahlstrand made two buckets in the run, while Justin Kusiappouh added a three point play and Deondre Terwilliger hit a layup on the break. 
  • The Panthers were held scoreless by the Wolves for the final 2:40 of the, allowing Keuka to take a 5 point lead into the break.
  • Pitt-Bradford took their final lead of the game with 14:07 to go on a Carmichael lay-up, but lost it quickly as Keuka responded with a three pointer. 
  • The Wolves pushed their lead to double digits with 11:17 to go, and was able to extend and maintain the lead for the remainder of the game.

Leaders

  • Nick Carmichael led the Panthers with 20 points. He was efficient as he was prolific, scoring his 20 on 8-10 from the field. 
  • Zach Dahlstrand scored in double figures for the second time in as many games, finishing with 16 points in only 18 minutes.
  • Deondre Terwilliger finished with 10 points.
  • Justin Kusiappouh led the Panthers in rebounds, grabbing 13 including 10 on the defensive end.

The Panthers (0-2) will return to the KOA Arena for their next game. They will host Fredonia on Friday November 22nd, with the tip-off at 7:00 p.m.
