Brogsdale, Amadi Named to NABC Honors Court

BRADFORD, Pa. -- Senior Desmond Brogsdale and junior Ugwunna Amadi of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team were named to the 2018-19 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season.

"It's great to see both Desmond and Ugwunna earn recognition from the NABC for their success in the classroom," Head Coach Ryan Shay said. "I'm proud of each of them for their accomplishments this year and the way they represented the program."

The NABC Honors Court also recognizes the talents and gifts these men possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom.

Last season, Brogsdale appeared in all 25 games and started 24. The Hyattsville, Md., native finished second on the team in scoring at 10.6 points per game, assists at 1.9 per game and time on the floor at 27.4 minutes per game.
