Men's Basketball To Host Summer Minicamp Sessions

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball program will host a four-week summer minicamp, Head Coach Ryan Shay announced. 

The one-day-per-week camp sessions will start June 17 and run until July 10.

The focus of the Summer Basketball minicamp is to provide age-specific skills and instruction over a multi-week period. The repetition of skills, techniques, and concepts will increase skill development and basketball IQ.

Monday sessions are for boys and girls entering grades 5-7.

Tuesday sessions are for boys entering grades 8-10.

Wednesday sessions are for boys entering grades 11, 12 and college.

The camp will focus on various skills, specifically ball handling, shooting technique, layups and finishing, 1-on-1 moves and game situations.

The camp will be under the direction of Pitt-Bradford Head Men's Basketball Coach, Ryan Shay, who boasts seven seasons of experience coaching at the collegiate level.

To register, fill out the attached flyer and waiver and release of liability and mail them to Ryan Shay, 300 Campus Drive, Bradford, PA 16701 by June 10.

All checks should be made payable to the University of Pittsburgh.
