Panthers To Wrap Up Regular Season Hosting Penn State-Behrend For Senior Day Saturday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team is set to host Penn State-Behrend for its 2018-19 regular-season finale Saturday at the KOA Arena.

Prior to the start of the game, Pitt-Bradford will honor Zach Reigel, Reggie Rogers, Desmond Brogsdale, Dylan Mitchell and Jacob Sutton for Senior Day.

Pitt-Bradford enters the final game of its regular season with a 2-15 record in conference play while Penn State-Behrend has a stronghold on the AMCC No. 2 seed for the playoffs next week with a 14-3 mark in conference play.

The Panthers are coming off a tough battle with Penn State-Altoona Wednesday that ultimately went the Lions' way, 94-85.

Desmond Brogsdale dropped a career-high 25 points while Dylan Mitchell scored 18 points.

Reggie Rogers had a double-double of 16 points and 11 assists.

With 10 points, George Alston was also in double-figures for the Panthers.

Both teams collected an equal 33 rebounds. Justin Kusiappouh led Pitt-Bradford's rebounding effort with eight.

Each team also turned the ball over 14 times apiece. 

Pitt-Bradford knocked down eight three-pointers with two apiece from Brogsdale, Mitchell and Jeffrey Fry.

At the line, Pitt-Bradford shot 25 free throws and made 19 while Altoona went 21-27 on chances at the charity stripe.

On the season, Rogers leads the team with 12.5 points per game while Brogsdale is close behind at 10.5 points per game.

Penn State-Behrend's top scorers are Justin Gorny and Andy Niland, who both average 14 points per game. Niland is also fifth in the AMCC shooting 43.3 from long range.

Saturday's game is set for a 4 p.m. start. Senior Day festivities will take place prior to tipoff. The contest will be the second part of a doubleheader with the women's game coming first.
