Pitt-Bradford Men Continue Homestand Hosting Penn State-Altoona Wednesday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will play its second contest of a three-game homestand Wednesday, hosting Penn State-Altoona at the KOA Arena for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchup.

Pitt-Bradford enters Wednesday with a 2-14 AMCC mark while Penn State-Altoona owns a 5-11 record in conference play.

The Panthers are coming off a defeat at the KOA Arena Monday against Franciscan, despite a hot shooting night.

Reggie Rogers and Desmond Brogsdale led the Panthers with 15 points apiece while Jeffrey Fry dropped 11 points. All three players knocked down three three-pointers apiece.

Justin Kusiappouh chipped in 14 points off the bench for the Panthers.

Kusiappouh also led the team with seven boards and six assists.

As a team, Pitt-Bradford made nine three-pointers, the most in a conference game since its made 11 the win against Mount Aloysius on Jan. 5.

On the season, Rogers leads the team with averaging 12.3 points per game. Brogsdale is next with 9.9 points per game.

Penn State-Altoona is coming off a 97-95 overtime victory against D'Youville Saturday. 

Altoona's Cameron Gardner-Nicholson leads the AMCC in shot percentage at 64.5 percent and he's the third-best rebounder in the conference averaging 9.9 boards per game.

Wednesday's game is set for an 8 p.m. tipoff. Pitt-Bradford will be hosting its "Red Flag -- If You See Something, Say Something" sexual assault education campaign during Wednesday's game day.
