Men's Basketball To Play Second Straight Day, Host Hilbert Thursday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will play its second game in as many days as Hilbert comes to the KOA Arena Thursday evening for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference game.

Thursday's contest is a make-up date from the game originally scheduled for Jan. 30 but was postponed due to winter weather.

Pitt-Bradford is coming off an 84-53 defeat Wednesday night in their non-conference finale at Alfred State.

Dylan Mitchell and Jeffrey Fry scored 12 points apiece to lead Pitt-Bradford.

Fry went 4-9 from long range, tying the Panthers' season high for three-pointers made.

Desmond Brogsdale chipped in 11 points to aid the Pitt-Bradford scoring effort.

As a team, Pitt-Bradford made 10 three-pointers, one shy of tying the team's season high.

On the season, Reggie Rogers leads the Panthers with 12.1 points per game.

Hilbert enters the KOA Arena with a 7-14 overall mark and a 3-11 AMCC record. The Hawks have found wins in their last two games, coming against Penn State-Altoona (Feb.2) and Medaille (Feb. 6).

Masia Phillips is the team's leading scorer with 14.9 points per game. Nicholas Parucki drops 12.4 points per game and Hunter Martineau contributes 12.3 points per game. Joseph Braniecki ranks sixth in the conference shooting 53.6 from the field.

Wednesday's game is set for an 8 p.m. tip. It will serve as the second part of a doubleheader with the women's game coming before at 6 p.m.
