Pitt-Bradford Men's Basketball Returns Home To Host Hilbert Wednesday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will return home to host Hilbert Wednesday for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest at the KOA Arena.

Pitt-Bradford is coming off two straight road games and will play its first home game since Jan. 16, as the home game against Franciscan scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 19 was rescheduled to Monday, Feb. 11.

Most recently, Pitt-Bradford dropped a road contest at Pitt-Greensburg Saturday in which the Bobcats put together a hot second half shooting to come out on top.

Reggie Rogers led the Panthers in scoring with 16 points.

Justin Kusiappouh registered a double-double of 14 points and 10 boards.

Dylan Mitchell and Desmond Brogsdale were also in double-figures scoring 12 and 10 points respectively.

The two teams put together an even first half, both shooting at a high percentage and taking care of the ball.

Pitt-Bradford knocked down four three-pointers -- one apiece from Rogers, Brogsdale, George Alston and Zach Reigel.

The Panthers and Bobcats went into the half tied, 37-37.

On the season, Rogers leads the team in scoring with 12.8 points per game. Kusiappouh averages 9.2 points per game and Brogsdale has elevated his scoring average to 8.8 points per game.

As a team, the Panthers rank second in the AMCC averaging 8.6 steals per game.

Hilbert enters the KOA Arena with a 5-14 overall mark and a 1-11 AMCC record. Pitt-Bradford ranks ahead of the Hawks in the standings with an AMCC record of 2-9.

Masia Phillips is the team's leading scorer with 14.3 points per game and Hunter Martineau contributes 12.8 points per game. Joseph Braniecki ranks fifth in the conference shooting 55.6 from the field.

Wednesday's game is set for an 8 p.m. tip. It will serve as the second part of a doubleheader with the women's game coming before at 6 p.m.
