Panthers To Take On Pitt-Greensburg For Second Straight Road Game Saturday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will play its second-straight Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference road contest at Pitt-Greensburg Saturday.

Pitt-Bradford enters the weekend with a 2-8 AMCC mark, most recently coming off a defeat at Medaille Wednesday.

Desmond Brogsdale put together a career performance offensively, dropping a Pitt-Bradford season-best 24 points Wednesday.

In the team's first meeting with Pitt-Greensburg on Dec. 8, Brogsdale poured in 23 points to lead the Panthers to an 87-82 double-overtime win at the KOA Arena.

Pitt-Greensburg got a friendly roll on a game-tying three-pointer as time expired to send the game to OT. But after the first overtime period, Pitt-Bradford outscored Pitt-Greensburg 11-6 in the second OT to pull off the win.

On the season, Reggie Rogers leads the team in scoring with 12.6 points per game while dropping 13.4 points per game against conference opponents. Rogers also leads the team with 46 assists.

Defensively, the Panthers are tied for first in the AMCC averaging 8.8 steals per game. Ugwunna Amadi is sixth in the conference averaging 1.8 steals per game.

The Bobcats welcome the Panthers with an overall record of 5-13 and 2-9 mark in conference play. Cam Seigfreid is tied for fifth in the AMCC in scoring averaging 15.3 points per game.No team in the AMCC averages more three-point attempts than the Bobcats during conference play as Pitt-Greensburg shoots it 25.4 per game from long range.

Saturday's game is set for a 4 p.m. start, serving as the second part of a doubleheader with the women's matchup coming before at 2 p.m.
