Pitt-Bradford Men To Host Franciscan Saturday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will play its second-straight home game Saturday, hosting Franciscan for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest at the KOA Arena.

Pitt-Bradford is coming off defeat at the KOA Arena Wednesday to D'Youville, moving its AMCC record to 2-7.

Justin Kusiappouh led the Panthers with 14 points and Ugwunna Amadi scored 10.

Dylan Mitchell dropped eight points while Reggie Rogers and George Alston chipped in seven points apiece. 

Kusiappouh also led the team with seven boards.

The Panthers and Barons met earlier this season on Dec. 15 with Franciscan coming out on top at home, 87-71. 

Reggie Rogers led the Panthers in scoring during the first meeting with 19 points. Amadi and Mitchell dropped 17 apiece.

Franciscan comes to the KOA Arena with an 8-9 overall record and 4-6 mark in conference play. The Barons are riding a three-game skid, falling at La Roche (Jan. 9), against Penn State-Behrend (Jan. 12) and against Penn State-Altoona (Jan. 16). Franciscan's Matt Trent is the top rebounder in the AMCC averaging 10.4 rebounds per game.

Saturday's game is set for a 4 p.m. start. It will be the second part of a doubleheader with the women's game coming before at 2 p.m.
