BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will look for its second-straight victory Wednesday as it travels to Hilbert for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference contest.

Pitt-Bradford is coming off a solid 62-59 victory against third-place Mount Aloysius Saturday at the KOA Arena to elevate its AMCC record to 2-4, good for seventh in the AMCC.

Up one point with 11 seconds left, Reggie Rogers snagged all hope for Mount Aloysius to take the lead as he stripped the ball handler at the top of the key as he made a move to drive to the hoop. 

Rogers was fouled on his fastbreak attempt, and he then converted both free throws to put the game away.

Mount Aloysius entered the game in third place in the AMCC, but after the result, the Mounties drop to 4-3 in conference play and 7-7 overall while the Panthers improve to 2-4 in AMCC action and 3-8 overall.

Rogers led all scorers with 20 points on 7-16 shooting and 4-8 from three-point range.

Dylan Mitchell had a career night shooting from long range, connecting on 4-5 three-pointers -- all of which in the first half -- and 5-7 shooting overall for 17 points.

Off the bench, Justin Kusiappouh chipped in 10 points and grabbed six boards.

In total, Pitt-Bradford made 11 three-pointers, setting a new season high. Zach Reigel connected on a pair of three's while Jeffrey Fry knocked down one.

The Panther defense had one of its best games of the season, collecting 12 steals -- the seventh time in 11 games the Panthers have grabbed 10 or more steals in a game.

Additionally, the 59 points scored by the Mounties is the fewest a team has scored against the Panthers all season.

Pitt-Bradford leads the AMCC and ranks 31st in the country with 9.8 steals per game. In AMCC action, the Panthers are the only team in the conference averaging double-digit steals with 10.0 per game.

Desmond Brogsdale is fourth in the conference with 2.0 steals per game.

Hilbert welcomes the Panthers still in search of its first AMCC victory at 0-6 and 4-9 overall. Nicholas Parucki is one of the most accurate shooters in the AMCC, ranking fourth in three-point field goal percentage at 47.1 percent. Masia Phillips leads the team in scoring averaging 13.8 points per game and Hunter Martineau is next with 12.7 points per game. Parucki is third on the team with 10.4 points per game.

Wednesday's contest will begin around 8 p.m. as it will serve as the second part of a doubleheader with the women's matchup coming before.
