Pitt-Bradford Men Return Home To Host Pitt-Greensburg Saturday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team is set to welcome Pitt-Greensburg to the KOA Arena for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchup Saturday.

Pitt-Bradford returns home in search of its first AMCC win following a pair of road contests at Penn State-Behrend last Saturday then Penn State-Altoona Wednesday.

At Altoona, Dylan Mitchell matched his career high with 21 points to lead the Panthers in scoring. Mitchell was 6-12 from the field and 9-10 at the free-throw line.

Jeffrey Fry added 14 points off the bench, connecting on 4-7 three-point attempts. 

Reggie Rogers and Ugwunna Amadi each chipped in 11 points to aid the Panthers' scoring efforts.

On the season, Rogers leads the team with 14.5 points per game. He is also second in the conference in free-throw shooting at 83.3 percent (20-24).

Pitt-Bradford remains positive in turnover margin, forcing 16 turnovers per game and turning the ball over 15 times.

On defense, Pitt-Bradford is averaging 9.2 steals per game, second-most in the conference. Desmond Brogsdale is third in the conference averaging two steals per game.

Pitt-Greensburg enters the KOA Arena with a 3-5 overall mark and a 1-2 record in conference play. The Bobcats are coming off a tough 85-80 defeat against La Roche Wednesday.

Cam Seigfreid is fifth in the AMCC in scoring at 15.5 points per game. As a team, the Bobcats shoot the third-best percentage in the conference at 45.7 percent. UPG also knocks down 8.3 three-pointers per game -- 9.3 in conference play -- averaging the third-most in the AMCC.

Saturday's game is set for a 4 p.m. tip. It will serve as the second game of a doubleheader with the women's game coming before.
