Pitt-Bradford Men Head To Altoona For Second Straight AMCC Road Test Wednesday

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team is set to travel to Penn State-Altoona Wednesday for its second-straight Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference road contest. 

Pitt-Bradford is in search of its first AMCC victory, as it dropped its conference premiere against Medaille Wednesday before falling on the road against Penn State-Behrend Saturday. Behrend received votes in last week's D3Hoops National Top 25 Poll.

So far this season, Reggie Rogers is sixth in the AMCC in scoring at 15.2 points per game.

Rogers is also fourth in the AMCC shooting 83.3 percent from the free-throw line (15-18).

Justin Kusiappouh is the team's top rebounder with five boards per game, and Desmond Brogsdale has dished the most assists so far this year with 16.

Brogsdale also averages two steals per game, the third-most in the AMCC.

Penn State-Altoona welcomes the Panthers also in search of its first conference victory, falling to Mount Aloysius in its AMCC opener Wednesday before dropping their first conference road test at La Roche Saturday.

Cameron Gardner-Nicholson is the second-best rebounder in the conference with 8.7 boards per game. Shevelle Bailey leads the Lions in scoring with 12.4 points per game. 

As a defensive unit, the Lions have the most steals per game in the conference at 11.3 and the third-most blocked shots per contest at 3.7.

Wednesday's game is set for an 8 p.m. tipoff. The contest will be the second of a doubleheader, with the 6 p.m. women's game coming first.
