BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will return home Saturday for Senior Day, hosting Penn State-Behrend for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference game.
Prior to tipoff, seniors Christian Kelly-Perkins, Sahlil Harris, Brady Dailey and Colby Mills will be honored for their time as Pitt-Bradford student-athletes as they will play in their final weekend home game.
The Panthers are looking to avenge a loss in the two teams' first meeting on Jan. 6. Desmond Brogsdale led the Panthers with 17 points.
Pitt-Bradford is coming off a hard-fought overtime loss Wednesday at Medaille in which both teams lit up the scoreboard, 117-111. Pitt-Bradford's 111 total points is a new season high, beating the 110 scored against Penn State-Berks on Nov. 18.
An evenly matched affair, the lead changed hands 22 times and was tied 21 times. Neither team held a double-digit lead at any point.
Reggie Rogers scored a career-high 29 points to lead the Panthers.
Brogsdale poured in 21 points and grabbed 12 boards for a double-double.
Three more Panthers scored in double-figures as Dylan Mitchell dropped 17, Kelly-Perkins scored 14 and Mills added 12.
The Panthers as a team knocked down 14 three-pointers, the most all season.
Rogers led the way, going 5-7 from long range while Mills went 4-8 on three-point field goals.
Kelly-Perkins is the Panthers' top scorer at 12 points per game.
Also averaging in double-figures is Brogsdale at 11.6 points per game and Dylan Niedermeyer with 10.3 points per game.
Rogers remains one of the top distributors in the conference, now averaging 3.7 assists per game, which is fourth-best average in the AMCC.
Saturday's game is set for a 1 p.m. tipoff with Senior Day ceremonies taking place around 12:45 p.m.
The Pitt-Bradford basketball programs will also be hosting McKean County Special Olympics Saturday for Special Olympics Day.
