Panthers Dial In From Long Range To Earn AMCC Win; Pitt-Bradford Faces Division I Opponent

Panthers Dial In From Long Range To Earn AMCC Win

On Dec. 16, freshman Jeffrey Fry knocked down eight three-pointers to elevated Pitt-Bradford to an 82-73 victory over Mount Aloysius. As a team, the Panthers made 13 three-pointers, their most in a single game so far this season. That's ties the most for the program since Jan. 4, 2017 against Penn State-Altoona and March 4, 2009 against Washington & Jefferson.

Pitt-Bradford Faces Division I Opponent

Just before Christmas, the Panthers headed to Colgate to face the Division I opponent in a meaningful game.

Malique McCoy led the way for the Panthers with 17 points. Colby Mills hit four three-pointers and scored 14 points.

The Panthers hung with the Raiders in the early minutes of the game, forcing Colgate to a 2-6 mark on field goal attempts in the first four minutes of the game.

Down 10-0, Sahlil Harris scored the first points of the day for the Panthers with a layup at the 14:30 mark.

Three-pointers from Mills and Christian Kelly-Perkins gave the Panthers an offensive boost and kept the Panthers within single-digits, bringing the score to 17-8 in favor of Colgate at the 12:48 mark.

Ultimately, Pitt-Bradford fell, 103-52, but hung with the stiff competition.
