BRADFORD, Pa. – For the first time in five games, the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will play at the KOA Arena Wednesday night, hosting Medaille for an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference game.
Pitt-Bradford is most recently coming off a conference setback at D'Youville Monday night.
Christian Kelly-Perkins led the Panthers with 14 points while Reggie Rogers had 10 points himself to also score in double-figures.
Sahlil Harris and Colby Mills dropped nine points apiece.
Pitt-Bradford's active defense forced 25 Spartan turnovers. Darius Jones led the way with three steals while George Alston had a pair.
The last time the Panthers were home, though, they claimed an 82-73 victory over Mount Aloysius (Dec. 16).
Jeffrey Fry was on fire, hitting a Panthers' season-high eight three-pointers. As a team, Pitt-Bradford hit a total of 13.
Fry holds the third-best percentage from long range in the conference at 43.9 percent.
Kelly-Perkins has come around as a key offensive weapon recently. The Panthers' returning leading scorer from a year ago dropped a Panthers' season-high and career-high 31 points last Wednesday at Penn State-Altoona.
After scoring 14 points at D'Youville Monday, Kelly-Perkins has raised his scoring average to 10.1 points per game, the second-highest on the team.
The highest scoring average on the team belongs to Desmond Brogsdale, who drops 14.6 points per game. That average is good for fifth-best in the AMCC.
With 89 total rebounds, Dylan Niedermeyer both leads the Panthers and ranks fifth in the AMCC.
Harris has grabbed 28 total steals (2.2 per game), the fourth-most in the conference.
Wednesday's game will begin at 6 p.m., the first game of a doubleheader with the women's game coming after.
