BRADFORD, Pa. – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team will resume Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play and head to Penn State-Altoona Wednesday.

Pitt-Bradford took on some tough competition on the road recently, playing the undefeated Juniata (Dec. 18) and Division I Colgate (Dec. 22).

But, the Panthers picked up a win in their most recent AMCC action, 82-73, against Mount Aloysius at the KOA Arena on Dec. 16.

Malique McCoy has been the most consistent offensive player for Pitt-Bradford recently, scoring in double-figures in the Panthers' last three games, including a career-best performance of 17 points against the Division I opponent Colgate.

The team's top rebounder is Dylan Niedermeyer, who pulls down 7.2 boards per game, the fourth-best average in the AMCC.

In the most recent AMCC contest, Jeffrey Fry knocked down a Panthers' season-high eight three-pointers. Fry averages 8.3 points per game in conference games, tied with Dylan Mitchell.

Joining Fry on the perimeter is sharpshooter Colby Mills, who scored 14 points with four three-pointers at Colgate. Mills averages 8.9 points per game with 25 made three-pointers and four games of double-figure scoring with two games of 20 points or more.

Desmond Brogsdale has been sidelined due to injury but in the first six games of the season, he averaged 17.3 points per game and holds the third-best scoring average in the AMCC.

Wednesday's game will begin at 5 p.m. and serve as the first game of a doubleheader with the women's game.
