Medialle stymied the Pitt-Bradford men's basketball team Wednesday night, 84-61, snapping the Panthers' three-game winning streak.

Medaille limited Pitt-Bradford to 36 percent shooting and stifled the Panthers from long-range. After connecting for 35 threes in its last three games, Pitt-Bradford was just 6-22 from behind the arc.

The Mavericks led from the start, opening the game on a 14-3 scoring run, fueled by a pair of three-pointers. Pitt-Bradford cut the deficit to single-digits at 24-15, but Medaille held the Panthers without a field goal over the next 10-plus minutes to turn the game into a blowout.

During that span, Pitt-Bradford missed seven straight shots, committed eight turnovers and was outscored 22-3. The Panthers trailed 51-21 at halftime.

Pitt-Bradford was 15-32 from the floor in the second half, but the game was too far out of reach as both teams emptied their benches.

Medaille shot 47 percent from the field, scored 20 points off 18 Panther turnovers and outrebounded Pitt-Bradford by 12. The Mavericks were 17-25 from the free throw line and hit seven three-pointers.

Manny Welch was the only Panther in double-figures with 10 points, and Evan Greening added nine points and 11 rebounds, ending his streak of 12 straight double-doubles. Christian Kelly-Perkins scored eight points, and Sahlil Harris totaled six points, five assists, and two steals.

Pitt-Bradford drops to 6-7 on the year and 4-4 in the AMCC. The Panthers travel to Pitt-Greensburg Saturday.
