UPB Drops Heartbreaker to Washington & Lee

The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford men's basketball team dropped a 77-55 heartbreaker to Washington & Lee in the third place game of the Gettysburg Tournament on Saturday afternoon. 

"We need to find ways to finish games," said Pitt-Bradford head coach Britt Moore. "We are close but not there yet. We are passed the point in our program for moral victories. We will continue to get better and win those close games."

Evan Greening led the Panthers with yet another double-double, posting 22 points and 12 boards. He was also named to the all-tournament team for his efforts. Eric Matheson followed with 20 points and seven assists. Sahlil Harris added 13 points and three blocks in the loss.

The Panthers return to action Wednesday, Dec. 2 against Houghton at 7 p.m. in the KOA Arena.
