Evan Fragela Named AMCC Player of the Week

Bradford, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford baseball team had one of its players recognized as the top performer in the AMCC for last week's contests as Evan Fragela was named conference Player of the Week on Monday.

Fragela hit .455 with two home runs, six runs scored and five RBI as the Panthers went 2-1 in their second week of play. In the tough extra-inning loss to Fredonia, Fragela was 2-for-4 with a home run, three runs scored, and two RBI while also drawing two walks and stealing a base. Behind the plate, he threw out two base runners stealing.

Fragela has been AMCC Player of the Week one other time, as he was recognized by the conference last season for the week of February 27th.

Evan, and the rest of the Panthers will be back in action tomorrow, as they will take on Houghton on a road doubleheader that was postponed earlier this season. First pitch is set for 2:00 p.m.
