Oilers To Host Pitt-Bradford Night At The Ballpark June 13

OLEAN, N.Y. – June 13 will be University of Pittsburgh at Bradford Night at the Ballpark at Bradner Stadium.

The Olean Oilers will take on the Mansfield (Pa.) Destroyers in a 6 p.m. game in the New York Collegiate Baseball League.

Pitt-Bradford faculty, staff, students and coaches will be on hand with information about the university, particularly athletics, business management, accounting and economics.

The Panther mascot will also be on hand and available for photos before the game.

Head Panther Baseball Coach and former professional pitcher Zach Foster will throw out the first pitch and Pitt-Bradford admissions counselor Bill O'Connell will sing the National Anthem.

Pitt-Bradford has three sport and recreation management students serving as interns with the Oilers this season who will also be recognized during the game: Noah Bartholomew of Olean, Josh Kirkwood of Horseheads and Matt Marynchak of South Park, Pa.

Fans can try their hands at the Pitt-Bradford lollipop tree for a chance to win a prize, including T-shirts, tote bags and sunglasses.

Tickets are $3 each or two for $5. Admission is free for kids 17 and under.

Gates for the 6 p.m. contest will open at 5 p.m.

The Olean Oilers are a summer development baseball team assembled of collegiate players from all over the country. The Oilers compete in the Western Division of the 10-team NYCBL.
