Pitt-Bradford Baseball To Play Nine Games In Fort Myers Next Week

BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford baseball team takes its blemish-free 3-0 record to Fort Myers, Fla., for nine non-conference games next week.

Pitt-Bradford will start the trip with a doubleheader against Rockford on March 11. The Panthers will play Rockford in a single game later in the week on March 16.

On March 12, the Panthers will take on Haverford for a doubleheader, then on March 14, battle with Wisconsin Lutheran for a twin bill.

Pitt-Bradford will wrap up its Florida trip with a doubleheader on March 17 against Bethany.

The Panthers' most recent action came on Feb. 23 and 24 in which they picked up a series sweep at Wells College -- all wins coming in convincing fashion.

Austin Parent and Jake McNabb knocked homers while Tyler Hoops and Sawyer Packard knocked in four runs apiece.

Ryan Boyer came one out away from a seven-inning perfect game in the season opener. For his complete-game win with 16 strikeouts, he was named the NCBWA Pitcher of the Week Honorable Mention and to the D3Baseball Team of the Week.
