BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford baseball team will conclude its regular season Friday with a doubleheader against Penn State-Altoona.

Due to incoming weather in the Bradford area, the games have been moved to the turf field on the campus of Mount Aloysius in Cresson, Pa.

The doubleheader has playoff implications for both teams, as the Panthers and Lions sit deadlocked at 9-7 in AMCC action, tied for fourth place in the conference. The team that earns the fourth spot in the playoffs will host the first round.

The Panthers have fond memories playing at Mount Aloysius this season, as it found victories in both contests at Ray and Louise Walker Athletic Field Complex. Most recently, Pitt-Bradford is coming off a thrilling 21-17 victory at Mount Aloysius on Tuesday, scoring 12 runs in the top of the ninth to stage a magical comeback and pick up a crucial conference victory.

Pitt-Bradford catcher Austin Parent continues to be one of the top hitters in the nation, holding the fifth-best batting average in NCAA Division III at .475 and the top on-base percentage in the nation at .610.

Parent has hit safely in 13-straight games.

Dalton Renn knocked his team-leading sixth homer of the season at Mount Aloysius Tuesday. He has the second-most RBIs on the team with 32.

Top to bottom, the Panthers own one of the most dynamic offenses in the country. With 252 runs scored and 9.0 per game, the Panthers rank 12th in NCAA Division III in runs per game.

Penn State-Altoona is led by Peter Jacobs, who is hitting .475 in AMCC action while knocking 19 RBIs and four homers. Chase Clouser is hitting .467 in conference play with three homers.
