BRADFORD, Pa. -- The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford baseball team will continue Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action as it takes on Hilbert Wednesday.

The game will be played at Niagara University with Hilbert as the home team for both games of the doubleheader.

Wednesday's games will be the first since March 28, as games between were rescheduled due to weather.

On March 28, Pitt-Bradford opened up its AMCC portion of the schedule, suffering a pair of setbacks against Alfred State.

The Panthers own two of the top hitters in the conference. Austin Parent is third in the AMCC with a .420 batting average, while Tyler Hoops ranks eighth hitting .404. The duo of Parent and Hoops also reach base more than nearly any other player in the conference. Parent is second in the AMCC with an on-base percentage of .561, while Hoops is third at .557.

Parent and Sawyer Packard are the team's top run producers with 16 RBIs apiece. Dalton Renn and Tim Brown are next with 14 each.

On the basepaths, Pitt-Bradford is a perfect 16-for-16 on stolen-base attempts -- the lone team in the conference to not be thrown out stealing. Packard leads the team with seven stolen bases.

Ryan Boyer is the Panther ace on the mound. The two-time AMCC Pitcher of the Week holds the fifth-best ERA in the conference at 2.93 and the third-most strikeouts with 35. His 27.2 innings pitched lead the team.

Also regular starters for the Panthers are Andrew Bacha (24.2 innings, 16 strikeouts) and Alex Andrzejewski (17 innings, 13 strikeouts). 

Out of the bullpen, Benjamin Hayes delivered one of the best relief appearances from a Panther this season against Alfred State, tossing 4.2 strong innings, striking out seven, walking none and surrendering two earned runs. For Hayes, his seven strikeouts are the most of any outing of his career and they surpass his entire strikeout total of five last season.

Wednesday's games are set to start at 1 p.m. with game two beginning around 3:30 p.m.

• Hilbert is coming off a split at Penn State-Behrend Monday, first getting the best of a 2-1 contest in game one before falling 13-1 in game two.
