Renn, Clinger, Earn All-AMCC Honors

Two University of Pittsburgh at Bradford baseball players were named to the All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference postseason team, following terrific seasons on the diamond.

Dalton Renn earned second team honors at third base while Jay Clinger was named to the third team at third base.

Renn had a breakout season for the Panthers, finishing the year hitting .333 with a team-high .512 slugging percentage, 41 hits, 11 doubles and 27 RBI. He was also among the team leaders with three home runs and 14 walks.

"Dalton had a great overall year. We expected him to take a step forward and he did in a big way for us," said Pitt-Bradford assistant coach Zach Foster. "He has the ability to be one of the best hitters in the AMCC and this should fuel his fire."

Clinger was the only player to play all 39 games this season, finishing the year with seven doubles, two home runs and 21 RBI. He also played a terrific second base all season long.

"Jay had another solid year for us at second base," Foster said. "He is one of our leaders and consistently went about his business, leading by example. He has all of the tools to be a premier left-handed bat for us."
