The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford athletic department welcomed some very special guests from George G. Blaisdell Elementary, Wednesday afternoon.
The second grade students were learning about athletics in their classes, so they took a field trip to the Richard E. and Ruth McDowell Sport and Fitness Center.
Athletic Director Bret Butler, along with members of the athletic department staff and a few athletes, showed the students all around the sport and fitness center.
The students concluded their trip by listening to professional baseball player, and Pitt-Bradford graduate, Aaron Cressley read them a story.
