Chi Alpha Sigma Inducts 43 Pitt-Bradford Student Athletes

BRADFORD, Pa. – More than 7,500 student-athletes nationwide were welcomed into Chi Alpha Sigma during the 2019-20 academic year, the National College Athlete Honor Society announced Tuesday. The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford saw 43 student-athletes inducted into the honor society.

 Chi Alpha Sigma is the first and only national scholar-athlete society to honor four-year collegiate student-athletes who have excelled in both the classroom and in athletic competition. Chi Alpha Sigma recognizes college student-athletes who receive a varsity letter in their sport, achieve junior academic standing or higher after their fifth full-time semester, and earn a 3.4 or higher cumulative grade point average.

The 43 Panthers who earned the honor represented 10 different Pitt-Bradford sports, and 15 majors. The full list of Pitt-Bradford student-athletes elected is below.
