BRADFORD, Pa. -- Sophomore Shaelyn Snipes of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford women's basketball team has been named a Pitt-Bradford Athlete of the Week for her performance during the period of Feb. 11-17.

Snipes averaged 16.7 points per game and 33.3 minutes per game to help power Pitt-Bradford to a 3-0 week and secure a spot as the AMCC No. 3 seed.

Snipes' week was highlighted by a 23-point outburst Monday against Franciscan in which she made seven three-pointers -- one shy of the Pitt-Bradford single-game record.

On the week, she made 14 total three-pointers and shot 51.5 percent from the floor.

She also dished eight assists, grabbed 17 boards and collected two steals.
