BRADFORD, Pa. -- Senior Same Colebert of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford wrestling team has been named a Pitt-Bradford Athlete of the Week for his performance during the period of Jan. 28 - Feb. 3.
Colebert finished seventh in the 285 lb. weight class in the tough Messiah Open Saturday.
After falling in the first round, Colebert pulled off five-straight wins in the consolation bracket to earn a spot in the seventh-place match, where he defeated his opponent with a 10-3 decision.
The senior will be back in action Wednesday as the Panthers host Penn State-Behrend for a dual meet at the KOA Arena to wrap up the 2018-19 regular season.
